A conference stage is a different medium from a meeting room, and most decks don’t account for it. Text sized for a laptop is unreadable from the back. Detail that works one-to-one turns to mush at scale. And unlike a deck you can talk someone through later, the stage gives you one take, in front of everyone, with no second chance to clarify. The slides have to carry in a way they never need to in a boardroom.
